Family and friends of Faron Hall gathered at Thunderbird House Tuesday.
Hall, The homeless man who made headlines across the country back in 2009, for rescuing two people in distress in the Red River, was pulled from the same waters, on Sunday August 17th.
A vigil was held at the Alexander docks, where hundreds gathered to mourn.
On Tuesday night, a wake was held for Faron Hall. The ceremony will continue all night. The ceremony is held as a final goodbye to the man, known as a hero in Winnipeg.
Hall’s funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 11 AM..
